Texas country singer Aaron Watson‘s ‘July in Cheyenne’ video will hit home for real cowboys, as well as many country music fans. The clip tells the story of Lane Frost, a 25-year-old bull riding champion killed in July 1989.
Frost died after a ride at Cheyenne Frontier Days, and his story was turned into a movie.The song was so touching that the singer even became friends with Elsie Frost, Lane’s mother.
