J.W. Hart took Bull Riding by Storm in 1994 winning Rookie of the Year!
J.W.Hart from Marietta,Oklahoma is known as the ironman and rode bulls for over 20 years!
J.W made a splash in 1994 by winning rookie of the year..The award goes to the rookie (first year of Built Ford Tough Series competition) bull rider who wins the most points of all first-year competitors.
Kodiak in 1996 was the Canadian Finals Rodeo Champion Bull and was making quite a name for himself.
Harvey Northcott, one of Canada’s most respected stock contractors, featured a bucking herd that could be compared to the greatest of all time.He had champion bulls such as Kodiak but perhaps was better known for his stallions. The cornerstone of his bucking herd was the stallion Wyatt Earp, the Canadian and National Finals Rodeo champion in 1997 and 1998.
Another superstar stallion of Northcott’s herd was Get Smart who was described as “one of the best horses on the planet.”
In this video, Hart took a ride of 84.5 points on Girletz Brothers’ Walk On and then coupled it with a 91-point effort atop Harvey Northcott’s B12 Kodiak Copenhagen to win the bull riding bonus with 175.5 points.
